Puppy Programs

Socialization

For puppies under 20 weeks old, we find that our 4 week socialization program is a perfect start to laying a wonderful foundation for you and your puppy. This program is designed to aid you on your path to raising well-balanced dog citizen of our community.
During these 4 weeks you will learn about early socialization, potty training, puppy mouthing, and resource guarding and separation anxiety prevention. We will give you clear instructions on your individual puppy’s body language and teach you specific activities and exercises to help you work through this important time in your puppy’s life. We will also touch on the beginning steps of husbandry and basic obedience behaviors that your puppy will need for the rest of his or her life.
We offer this program as in-home, virtual, and hybrid private session options.
Socialization and Obedience

For puppies under 20 weeks old and pet parents that are feeling overwhelmed or just want that extra help right from the start we find that our 8 week socialization and obedience program is a perfect match. This program is designed to set your puppy up for future success by laying a strong foundation using our socialization and obedience activities and exercises helping you raise that well-balanced adult dog we all dream of.
During these 8 weeks you will learn about early socialization, potty training, puppy mouthing and resource guarding and separation anxiety prevention plus acquire the skills to teach husbandry and basic obedience behaviors such as relaxed nail trimmings, calm greetings, walking nicely on leash, and how to prevent unwanted barking that will make living with your puppy easy and worry free. You and your puppy’s relationship will be further bonded than ever.

Young Adult Programs
*Available for puppies over 20 weeks old.
Basic Obedience

For most teenage and young adult pups we find that our 4 or 8 week basic obedience programs are our best choices. These programs are designed to teach you and your pup basic obedience cues, husbandry behaviors, and how to set your pup up to make correct choices and avoid learning problem behaviors.
During these 4 or 8 weeks you will learn foundational exercises which we will build on throughout your sessions, working at your individual pup’s pace. We will clearly instruct you on how to use our reward based training methods to teach basic and more advanced obedience cues. We will also share enrichment activities to keep your puppy’s mind working even when you are busy working. All this will result in better communication between you and your pup that will last for years.

Behavior Modification
$1325-$2000
For teenage and young adult pups that exhibit behaviors such as accidents in the home, separation anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding we find that our 8 week behavior modification programs are the best choices. These programs is designed to teach you and your pup the specific techniques to address these problem behaviors, basic obedience cues, husbandry behaviors, and how to set your pup up to make correct choices in the future.
During these 8 weeks you will create better communication and gain a stronger relationship with your pup that will last for years. We will clearly instruct you on skills to keep your pup under threshold and how to use our reward based training methods to teach basic and more advanced obedience cues to accomplish your goals. You will learn foundational and advanced exercises which we will build on throughout your sessions, working at your individual pup’s pace. We will share enrichment activities to keep your pup’s mind working when you are busy working.
